Velickovic was born in Belgrade, Yogoslavia, where he attended the Academy; studying architecture. In 1966 he moved to Paris and he became a professor at the Academy des Beaux-Arts from 1983 till 2000. His works are exhibited and collected world-wide, many in important public collections
