British, 1913 - 1981 Reginald Cotterell Butler trained as an architect. In 1933, inspired by the works of Henry Moore, he turned to sculpture and lithography. His first lithographs, issued in very small editions, were printed on a small hand-made press but later he worked with printing studios although his print output remained very small. Examples are in the British Museum and Tate Britain collections |
